SOCCER TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS

Men's Tournament Rules & Regulations

Article 1

The competition will be denominated “Goals 4 Kids Men’s Tournament” (the “Men’s tournament”)

Article 2

The winner of this tournament will obtain the title of “Champion of the Goals 4 Kids Tournament” and “Master of the solidarity spirit”

Article 3

As this is a fund raising event teams and their supporters are only allowed to buy beverages and food sold by the organizers of the event.

Article 4

The director in charge of the tournament will be Fundashon Tuma mi Man, (the “Director”). The Director will have all the faculties to solve any disagreement non- predicted in these regulations. Also will have the faculty to solve the doubts that subscribe in the occasion of the interpretation of them, without later resource.

Article 5

The regulation by which this tournament will be governed are the hereby constituted articles and the Director’s resolutions in the order of preference just indicated.

Article 6

The teams participating in this competition will be those duly registered as per ruled in the online registration form sheet attached to the invitation letters and on the official website of Goals 4 Kids  Tournament: http://goals4kdiscuracao.org/soccer-regsitration/.

Article 7

The registered teams are obliged to comply with the rules and regulations of this tournament.

Article 8

  1. The teams must register a minimum of 5 (five) players and a maximum of 10 (ten) players.
  2. The team may have a maximum of 4 (four) guest players (non-emlpoyee), of which none can be part of the Federashon Futbol Korsou (1st and 2nd division for normal soccer and futsal(“zaalvoetbal”));
  3. By having a guest player from Federashon Futbol Korsou on the team, that team will automatically loose by default where the opposite team will receive a score of 3:0
  4. If both teams have guest players from the Federashon Futbol Korsou they will both be declared losers with a penalty of -3 goals.
  5. Players may only play for 1 (one) team for which they were registered.
  6. Each team will have to submit the players list 1 (one) month before the start date of the tournament, clearly indicating which players are employees, which employees are from Federashon Futbol Korsou and which players are ‘guest players’.
  7. Each team needs to submit a proof of employment letter with the signature of the Company’s Director and submit copies of the identification card of each of the players. The Director in charge of the tournament relies upon the honesty and sportsmanship of the Company’s Director, who is signing the proof of employment letter, in order to identify employee players.
  8. The team captain will confirm registration and players list with the Team Registration Committee at the registration boot, before the start of the first game of the tournament.
  9. Players will receive a wrist band, which they should wear during each game and which will identify them as player and type of player of the team.
  10. If on the day of the event the players present are not the same as the players on the confirmed registration form the referee will declare the opposite team the winner of that match with a score of 2:0.
  11. If both teams do not have the confirmed and registered players on the field, the referee will declare both teams as losers with a penalty of -2 goals.
  12. 4 (four) players will be the minimum allowed to start a game.
  13. If one team has less than 4 (four) players on the pitch at the scheduled time of the game then the referee will declare the game as finished and declare the opposite team the winner of that match with a score of 2:0.
  14. If both teams have less than 4 (four) players on the pitch at the scheduled time of the game than the referee will declare both team as losers with a penalty of -2 goals.
  15. The team on the pitch must have a minimum of 3 (three) employee players, which means that the maximum allowed amount of “guest players” on the pitch is 2 (two)
  16. The Team on the pitch may have a maximum of 3 (three) employee players, who is part of Federashon Futbol Korsou (1st and 2nd division for normal soccer and futsal(“zaalvoetbal”))
  17. By having more than the allowed number of players mentioned in Article 8-o and 8-p that team will automatically loose by default and the referee will declare the opposite team the winner with a score of 3:0.
  18. If both teams have more than the allowed number of players mentioned in Article 8-o and 8-p, both teams will be declared losers with a penalty of -3 goals.
  19. A combi team is allowed when they are sponsored by at least one organization and play without FFK players ans guest players.

Article 9

The first round of the championship will be developed in 4 poules named A, B, C and D every each of them with six previously sorted teams playing all versus all, 2 times 10 minutes games with a pause of 5 minutes, according to the fixture provided by the Director. 3 (three) points will be assigned to the winning teams, 1 (one) point to each team in case of a tie and 0 (zero) points to the losing teams.

Article 10

In case that more than two teams end with the same amount of points at the end of the poule round, the positions among them will be solved, in order of preference, according to the following considerations.

a) Less amount of games lost by non-presentation (W.O.).

b) Better difference of scored goals.

c) Greater amount of scored goals.

d) The result of the match between both teams.

In the case of more than two teams ending with the same amount of points, the positions will be defined by:

  1. Major amount of points gained against these teams
  2. Better difference of scored goals among these teams

e) Fair play, defined by:

  1. less red cards, and
  2. less yellow cards.

f) By drawing.

Article 11

For the final rounds the teams that at the end of the poules round finalize in the first four positions will face the final rounds in the following manner:

In case of a tie in any of the final rounds’ games the winner will be defined by penalties. A round of three penalties per team will be executed. If after this round of penalties, the teams remain tied a series of one by-one penalties will be executed until one teams scores one penalty more than the other team.

Article 12

Fouls and acts of misconduct are infringements of the Laws of the Game that are penalized according to LAW 12 of the Futsal Laws of the Game of FIFA pages 39 – 42 quoted in Annex 1.

Article 13

If a team does not fulfill with the requirements and/or obligations established in the tournament’s regulations it will be immediately disqualified.

Women's Tournament Rules & Regulations

Article 1

Kid's Tournament Rules & Regulations

Article 1

The competition will be denominated “G4K Kids Tournament” (the “tournament”)

Article 2

There will be 2 age categories competing against each other.
The Minor League: ages 7 through 9 (older than 7 but not older than 9 years old)
The Major League: ages 9 through 11 (older than 9 but not older than 11 years old)

Article 3

The winners of the respective age categories will obtain the title of “Champion of the G4K Kids Tournament 2015” and “Master of the solidarity spirit”

Article 4

The director in charge of the tournament will be Fundashon Tuma mi Man, (the “Director”). The Director will have all the faculties to solve any disagreement non- predicted in these regulations. Also will have the faculty to solve the doubts that subscribe in the occasion of the interpretation of them, without later resource.

Article 5

Article 6

The participating teams are obliged to comply with the regulation of this tournament.

Article 7

The matches will be played five against five. One player will be designated as the keeper and four field players. The maximum amount of reserves is five. Therefore a maximum of 10 players may be incorporated during a match. Five players will be the minimum allowed to start a match. Only pre-subscribed players may participate in a match.

If one team has less than five players on the pitch at the scheduled time of the match than the referee will declare the match as finished in favor of the opponent’s team with a score of 2:0. If both team have less than five players on the pitch at the scheduled time of the match than the referee will declare both team as losers with a penalty of -2 goals.

Article 8

The matches will have to start at the scheduled time. If one team is, more than 10 minutes late then the referee will declare the match as finished in favor of the opponent’s team with a score of 2:0. If both teams are late then the referee may decide to play the match for the remaining time else both teams will be declared as losers with a penalty of -2 goals.

Article 9

The teams will play a round-robin tournament with matches of 20 minutes total. Three points will be assigned to the winning teams, one point to each team in case of a tie and zero point to the losing teams.

Article 10

In the case that more than two teams end with the same amount of points at the end of the tournament, the positions among them will be solved, in order of preference, according to the following considerations.

  1. a) Less amount of matches lost by non-presentation (W.O.).
  2. b) Better difference of scored goals.
  3. c) Greater amount of scored goals.
  4. d) The result of the match between both teams.

In the case of more than two teams ending with the same amount of points, the positions will be defined by:

  1. Major amount of points gained against these teams
  2. Better difference of scored goals among these teams
  3. e) Fair play, defined by:
  4. less red cards, and
  5. less yellow cards.
  6. f) By drawing.
Article 11

Match rules:

  • Match duration is 20 minutes total, therefore 10 minutes per each half. This is in order to avoid advantages (because of sun, wind etc).
  • The keeper is allowed to grab the ball with the hands within the penalty area (within a radius of 4 meter of the center of the goal).
  • If the ball has been played back (foot pass) to the keeper by his own teammates and this was an intentional pass by his own teammate, this cannot be grabbed with the hand by the keeper. If the keeper still grabs this ball, this will lead to a non-direct free kick for the other team.
  • During kickoff, each team on its own half of the field, one team starts (decided by coin toss) by kicking the ball to a team member
  • If one team passes the ball outside the field the other team may play the ball:
    • If the ball crossed the side lines then the other team should place the ball on the line at the location where the ball went out of the field and pass it to another player. A throw-in is also allowed.
    • If the ball crossed the goal line without entering the goal itself then a corner kick is awarded
  • No physical contact allowed and especially no slidings
  • A foul is penalized with a (direct) free kick. Opponents will have to keep a distance of 2 meters until the ball is moved by the player. A free kick within the penalty area becomes a penalty. A penalty is a direct kick from one player against the keeper from a 4 meter distance
  • A player that repeatedly commits fouls or in any other way negatively obstructs the match can receive a yellow card. A player with two yellow cards will have to be replaced for the remainder of the match time
  • A player can receive a red card after a serious and intentional foul. This player will have to leave the match and cannot be replaced
Article 12

If a team does not fulfill with the requirements and/or obligations established in the tournament’s regulations it will be immediately disqualified.
